GRAFFITI ARTIST ONLINE PORTFOLIO - I thought everyone knew of Banksy, but I've recently discovered otherwise. Here is his official and rather humorous website, showing a selection of his graffiti, drawings and films. Banksy's Shop offers free image file downloads, his Manifesto talks of Graffiti Heroes and the FAQ section is amusing if a little short. It's worth checking back to this site regularly if you like his work, as the images are constantly updated.

ONLINE GAME - Not for the cat lovers amongst us, but very amusing none the less. Here you can shoot clay (pigeon) kittens, blowing them away to the sound of agonised meows. The website does warn that "if what the game protrays is likely to cause upset, or if you're of a sensitive disposition, then please go elsewhere. I'm not forcing you to play it."

CAT CHARITY - The Cat Protection Society was founded in 1958 by a group of cat lovers concerned with the plight of homeless street cats. Check out the "Cats Available for Adoption" section, it will inspire even a dog lover to adopt a cat. The Cat Protection Society is located at 103 Enmore Road Newtown, where they also have a great little Op Shop to raise money for the cats. Well worth a look in.

I am an Irish ex-pat living happily in London for the past 6 years. I love to travel, eat, cook and wander. I have a lifelong passion for food. If I am not eating, I am planning my next meal. If I am not talking about it, I am cooking it. It gives me much pleasure. In order to save my friends from the incessant ranting I started this blog. Eat like a girl is primarily a space to store and share my recipes with associated food photography. Alot of the recipes are my own and made up on a whim, some are favourites that I have been making for years and others are from my 200+ cookbook collection that I adore. Much to my horror, I discovered some years ago that I was a lactose intolerant, so I am always finding workarounds for this. Almost all of the recipes on this blog will be lactose free and will be tagged as such.
